Come hear about Dr. Soderberg’s journey fromstudying water pollution on Cape Cod, to Maine where she attended BatesCollege, to England where she received a Master’s degree from Universityof Cambridge, then back to the U.S. for postdoc positions and then her currentposition here at Harvard. Dr. Soderberg has received a number of awards,including the Dorothy Killam Prize (McGill University International Award)designed "to recognize women of influence in the science and humanities".Her current work at Harvard focuses on supernovae.
