Harvard Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (HGWISE)
Welcome to the Graduate Women in Science and Engineering (HGWISE) at Harvard Griffin GSAS
HGWISE at Harvard Griffin GSAS is a graduate student organization founded in 2005 dedicated to the personal, academic, and professional development of women in STEM at Harvard University. HGWISE aims to support and enhance the graduate experience for all graduate students with an emphasis in the sciences and engineering fields at Harvard by providing opportunities for networking, professional development, and mentoring. We welcome you to join us though our events as well as consider serving on the Executive Board! HGWISE has several specific areas of concentration, including:
- Mentoring opportunities (both as mentor or as mentee) through our flagship Mentoring Program
- Interacting with Scientists, Directors, Executives from surrounding Boston biotech ecosystem
- Professional development through career panels
- Community and outreach involvement
- Alumnae relations with former HGWISE members and Harvard alums
Our events, email announcements, and membership are open and available to all members of the Harvard Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences community.
