Please join us for a Coffee Hour with Dr. Alicia Soderberg, AssistantProfessor of Astronomy. Come hear about Dr. Soderberg’s journey fromstudying water pollution on Cape Cod, to Maine where she attended BatesCollege, to England where she received a Master’s degree from Universityof Cambridge, then back to the U.S. for postdoc positions and then her currentposition here at Harvard. Dr. Soderberg has received a number of awards,including the Dorothy Killam Prize (McGill University International Award)designed "to recognize women of influence in the science and humanities".Her current work at Harvard focuses on supernovae.
