Communication for Success Workshop

We are thrilled to have Jo McDermott, JD, return to offer this follow-up to lastyear’s event, "A Career Success Workshop: Tools for Being in Control of Your OwnCareer". Ms McDermott is a professional executive coach, and mother of CandiceEtson, a PhD student in Biophysics. As she did last year, Jo will lead anintensive, interactive half day seminar, but this year, the focus will be onhelping participants develop effective communication techniques they can usewith superiors, peers and subordinates. Participants will also learn how to beassertive while handling negotiations and tough conversations.
