Please join us for Coffee Hour with Dr. Cathy Wu, Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wu received her MD from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1994. She completed postgraduate training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, followed by a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare. In 2000, she joined Dana-Farber where her laboratory focuses on dissecting the underlying mechanisms of pathobiology of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). She has been the principal investigator of several center-initiated clinical trials. Other ongoing studies in her laboratory focus on systematic analyses to couple tumor genotype with phenotype, understanding CLL tumor heterogeneity, and mechanistic studies of novel CLL driver genes. In addition, Dr. Wu's husband Dr. Nir Hacohen is also a professor at Harvard Medical School with a laboratory at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
